The Group A RX7 FD Spec KS Infusion Carbon Hood is a custom-designed carbon fiber hood for the Mazda RX-7 FD3S, featuring the Spec KS design with integrated hood vents for aggressive heat extraction from the rotary engine bay. Built using a vacuum infusion process, the hood delivers a uniform resin distribution and a lightweight, rigid structure that replaces the heavy factory steel hood.
The integrated venting channels hot air from above the rotary engine directly out the top of the hood, reducing heat soak and underhood temperatures — critical for turbocharged rotary builds. The exposed carbon weave with gloss clear coat makes this hood a show-quality piece.
