Description
The Group A RX-7 FD3S RE Amemiya Infused Carbon AD9 Hood Gurney Flaps are carbon fiber aero elements designed to mount on the trailing edge of the RE Amemiya AD9 hood for the Mazda RX-7 FD3S. A Gurney flap is a small vertical tab mounted at the trailing edge of an aerodynamic surface, which increases the downforce generated by that surface without requiring a large angle-of-attack increase. On the hood, this helps manage pressure over the top of the car and can reduce lift at the front end.
Built from vacuum infused carbon fiber, these flaps are lightweight, strong, and finished with an exposed carbon weave that matches the RE Amemiya aesthetic perfectly.
